For over twenty years, Jon Muresan has fine-honed his expertise as an editorial and commercial photographer, building a portfolio of eclectic projects and clients. During the past decade, Jon has focused on the cultural intersection between people and automobiles, working in portraiture, commercial, new journalism, still life, action, and character studies, for which he has garnered much acclaim. Among the many personalities whom he has photographed include William Ford Jr. and Robert Lutz. Jon's corporate image clients range from Volvo North America, GM Planworks, Chrysler, and General Motors to the QMC Automotive Group and Automotive Hall of Fame. His list of New York editorial clients includes Bloomberg Markets Magazine, Media Week, Entrepreneur Magazine, The Sunday New York Times Magazine, and Reader's Digest. Jon's innovative depiction of vehicles reflects his passion for automotive design, business, and culture. This led to his assignment in creating the photographs for Chrysler's launch kits for the Viper GTS, Dodge Tomahawk, and ME 4/12, as well as Maxim Magazine's feature, The Future of Cars. The Mercedes-Benz AMG and Aston Martin automobile photo shoots are among his most recent assignments.

Jon's groundbreaking work in digital photography led to a series of feature articles in trade publications, including The Photo District News , September 2001. The coverage praised Jon's work in digital technology that not only provided instant photographs for review, but also clearer, sharper images at a greatly enhanced cost-effectiveness for the client. His creativity, innovation, and artistry in emerging digital photography technologies place Jon at the forefront of a competitive industry while making him a much-respected artist among his peers.

Jon Muresan studied at the College of Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan before winning prestigious apprenticeships under some of New York's most renowned photographers, including Michael O'Neill, Michel Tcherevkoff, and Al Satterwhite. Working out of New York and Detroit, Jon continues to produce images for an international audience and clientele.
